兰州理工大学计算机与通信学院始建于2004年，其前身是1984年设立的电子计算机专科专业，1994年设立的计算机及应用本科专业和计算机通信本科专业. 2004年成立计算机与通信学院，学院当时设有计算机科学与技术、通信工程两个本科专业和计算机科学与技术、信息与通信工程两个一级学科硕士专业。经过几代人30多年的努力已经为国家培养了许多计算机、通信方面的高级技术人才。目前学院具有制造业信息化交叉学科二级博士点授予权；计算机科学与技术、信息与通信工程、软件工程三个一级学科硕士点，其覆盖通信与信息系统、信号与信息处理、计算机应用技术、计算机系统结构、软件工程、物联网工程六个二级学科硕士点；具有电子信息工程领域的工程硕士授予权；计算机科学与技术、通信工程、软件工程、物联网工程、网络空间安全、数据科学与大数据技术六个本科专业。

学院现有教职工127人，其中，专任教师84人，正高23人，副高43人；博士教师45人，在读博士教师9人；博导14人，硕导41人；其中省领军人才5人，甘肃省青年教师成才获得者4人、甘肃省333、555人才3人，获得“兰州理工大学师德标兵称号”教师1人，获得甘肃省讲课竞赛一等奖及全国讲课竞赛三等奖1人，被甘肃省总工会授予五一劳动奖章1人，甘肃省创新创业教育教学名师1人。建立了一支结构合理、能力较强、学术水平较高的师资队伍。目前有在校学生3639名，其中本科生2933名，硕士研究生672名，博士研究生34名。

学院拥有目前学院是国家级Linux技术推广与培训中心、国家西北地区CAD培训网络-兰州理工大学CAD培训中心；拥有甘肃省制造业信息化工程技术研究中心、甘肃省中医药大数据产业技术工程研究中心、甘肃省城市轨道交通智能运营工程研究中心等3个省级工程中心和兰州市物联网工程研究中心、兰州市物联网人才培养基地等市级科研和人才培养中心，两个省级示范实验中心。

经过30多年的建设，学院学科建设成绩显著，建立了完整的、多层次的本硕博学科体系。坚持以学科建设为龙头，以先进装备和智能制造、信息技术、现代服务业和公共安全等战略性新兴产业的发展需要为依据，在制造业信息化、网络安全保障、数据科学工程等领域形成了计算智能与智能制造、网络空间安全、数据科学及智能信息处理、工业互联网通信技术与理论、无线光通信、现代通信网技术与系统等多个具有鲜明研究特色、较强学术梯队、良好发展前景、明显区域优势的学科研究方向。学院建立了智能系统与控制化、计算机软件与信息处理、信息化及物联网应用、计算机网络与信息安全、智能信息处理及应用、无线光通信与传感、大数据与复杂网等学科团队。

College Introduction

College of Computer and Communication, originally the Electronic Computer Specialty set up in 2004, and later the Computer and Application Specialty and Computer Communication Specialty for undergraduates in 1994, was established in 2004. Currently, the college has provincial key subjects such as Computer Science and Technology, Informatization System for Manufacturing Industry, Information and Communication Engineering and Software Engineering; second-level doctoral interdiscipline in Informatization System for Manufacturing Industry; 3 first-level master degree programs such as Computer Science and Technology, Information and Communication Engineering and Software Engineering conferring master’s degree; 7 second-level master degree programs such as Communication and Information System, Signal and Information Processing, Computer Application Technology, Computer Software and Theory, Computer System Structure, Software Engineering and Internet of Things Engineering; Master of Engineering conferral right in Computer Technology, Electronic and Communication engineering and Software Engineering; 5 undergraduate programs such as Computer Science and Technology, Communication Engineering, Software Engineering，Internet of Things and Cyberspace Security.

The college owns National Linux Technology Promotion and Training Center and National Northwest Area CAD Training Network—LUT CAD Training Center; 2 provincial engineering centers such as Gansu Manufacturing Industry Informatization Engineering Research Center and Gansu Traditional Chinese Medicine Big Data Technology Engineering Research Center; municipal-level scientific research and talent cultivation centers such as Lanzhou IoT Engineering Research Center and Lanzhou IoT Personnel Cultivation Base, etc.

Through more than 30 years of development, the college has established academic teams specialized in intelligent system and control, computer software and information processing, informatization and IoT application, computer network and information security, intelligent information processing and application, wireless optical communication and sensing and big data and complex network.

The college now has a teaching staff of 123 people, including 18 professors, 42 associate professors, 29 doctors,14 Ph.D. upervisors, 40 master supervisors and 5 external expert. Currently, the total enrollment of the college is 2899 students, including 2560 undergraduate students, 338 master candidates, and 21 doctor candidates.

Since 2004, the college has made great achievement in scientific research and talent cultivation, published more than 1600 academic papers and 11 monographs; obtained 16 national invention patents, more than 10 utility model patents and more than 20 software copyrights; directed and completed 30 national-level major research projects, 57 provincial-level projects, more than 80 bureau-level projects, 32 awarded projects, more than 80 crossing research projects with more than 60 million research revenue.
